A long time ago, my brother heard the term, "vested interest," and vowed one day he would use it. Of course, the opportunity never arose, unless you're making a bad pun about tuxedos. But then, when the band stopped playing, he saw his chance. Not only was he able to use the phrase, but it was the only phrase at that point in space at that moment of time that was able to get them out of the cluster-love formerly know as "their first gig."
